Friends, fellow riders and club members:

It can be easy for us to overshare on the internet, especially when we feel we can hide behind a screen or post anonymously. But just because we can type, post or say something doesn't mean we should.

Words have power. Even if something is posted unintentionally, it can still have a lasting impact on someone else. An insulting comment or hurtful post may be deleted, but the pain it causes can remain, leading to isolation, depression and unnessesary damaged friendships.

All it takes is one click to deeply hurt someone. So, let's choose to be kind to one another. Let's think before we post, comment or share something negative about another or about ourselves online.

Go for a ride, hug your horse and choose kindness!

**UPDATE** Shirley will bring a pot of chili for mid-race snack. Our club will provide drinks. Bring a side dish to share to celebrate our great season! We will set up the smorgasbord at the Snack Shack!

Verdict is in! Let's do some roping practice and learn a goat tying dismount! Plus practice on the goat tying dummy! Horsemanship night at Shirley's Arena - 630 pm!

Roping (indoor or outdoor)
Cross Country Jumping on the outdoor course
Repeat Polocrosse

Tuesday Horsemanship Night at Shirley's Arena featuring POLOCROSSE! Learn to play this fun sport on horseback! 630 pm, July 28th, all welcome! We need a few volunteers on foot as well!

**Tonight** Thursday, July 16th - Limited course will be set in the covered arena. Cross country field **may** be open if the ground is not too soggy! Will have jumps up for the next couple weeks for other jumping opportunities! See ya’ll this evening! Please remember the Alaska Stars Drill Team will be practicing in the outdoor arena so respect their space during the practice time! Thanks everyone!
