The Tri-State Prostock Series powered by Speed Union TV is heading into the FINAL TWO RACES OF THE 2026 SEASON, and there is absolutely no better way to finish the year than with two huge nights of Prostock racing!

After a season filled with hard racing, wild finishes, packed fields, changing track conditions and some of the best Prostock competition on the West Coast, it all comes down to Petaluma Speedway on October 17th and Antioch Speedway on October 31st!

We kick off the final two-race stretch with one of the most anticipated events of the season—the Bob McCoy Memorial!

Petaluma Speedway has already delivered some incredible Prostock racing this season, and the last visit showed just how good this race track can be when the surface is smooth, fast and hooked up. With the Bob McCoy Memorial on the line, expect drivers to bring everything they have.

Earlier this season, the Shawn McCoy Memorial brought an impressive 19 Prostocks through the gates, and we’d love nothing more than to see that number matched—or even surpassed—for the Bob McCoy Memorial!

And there’s another storyline that can’t be ignored…

🔥 MIKE LEARN HAS BEEN ON A ROLL AT PETALUMA!

Learn has been virtually unbeatable at Petaluma Speedway this season, winning every race he’s entered at the track. Can somebody finally knock him off the top step, or will Mike continue his Petaluma domination when the biggest race of the season rolls into town?

Petaluma Speedway has already given us some incredible Prostock racing this season, and now it’s time to finish the year with a race that carries a lot of meaning.

Earlier this season, we honored Shawn McCoy with the Shawn McCoy Memorial Race, and the Prostock community showed up in a big way with 19 cars taking the green flag. 🏁

Now we turn our attention to the Bob McCoy Memorial — and we want to see if we can beat that number!

🔥 19 cars is the number to beat. 🔥

And if the last Prostock race at Petaluma Speedway was any indication, the teams have plenty to look forward to. The race track was smooth, hooked up, and producing some incredible racing, giving the drivers a surface they could really attack. When Petaluma is that good, you know the Prostocks are going to put on a show! 🔥🏁

🏆 Mike Learn has been on an absolute tear at Petaluma Speedway this season. Learn has won every Prostock race at Petaluma Speedway so far this season, making the Bob McCoy Memorial the next opportunity for someone to step up and end that streak.

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the TriState ProStock Series pauses from the racing and remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

25 years later, we continue to honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken that day, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families and communities forever changed.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🏁 DRIVER SPOTLIGHT: AUSTIN LODIN 🏁

We want to take a moment to recognize Austin Lodin and the progress he continues to make at Petaluma Speedway.

Austin started his racing career in a Mini Stock, where he quickly found success by capturing several main event victories. After retiring the Mini Stock, Austin moved into a Hobby Stock, adding several more main event wins to his racing resume.

Austin has since made the move into the Tri-State Prostock Series, stepping into a much tougher class and going wheel-to-wheel with some of the most experienced drivers in the division.

This past weekend, during a regular Petaluma Speedway Super Stock race, Austin once again showed that he belongs up front. He was battling alongside veterans Mike Learn, Steve Studebaker, and Mitch Machado, continuing to prove that his speed and hard work are paying off.

And Austin added another accomplishment to the list — his SECOND heat race victory! 🏆🔥

That’s no small achievement, especially when you’re racing against a field packed with experience. Austin continues to improve, continues to run up front, and continues to knock on the door of that first main event victory.

We have a feeling it won’t be long before Austin puts it all together and finds himself standing in Victory Lane after a main event.

Congratulations on heat win #2, Austin! Keep digging and keep charging! 🏁🔥

🏁 THIS ONE DESERVES SOME RECOGNITION! 🏁

This wasn’t a Tri-State Prostock Series race. This was simply a regular Super Stock night at Petaluma Speedway — but after seeing the track last night, we felt it deserved to be talked about.

WOW. 🔥

The track surface was smooth, fast, and absolutely race-ready. You could see the hard work that has been going into the place, and it showed from the first time the cars hit the track.

A great racing surface doesn’t happen by accident. It takes hours of work, preparation, equipment, and a crew that cares about giving racers a place they’re proud to race at.

A huge THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Promoter Rick Faeth and the entire Petaluma Speedway crew for the work they’ve been putting in.

It’s easy to talk about wanting a better track — it’s another thing to actually put in the work to make it happen.

Last night, Petaluma Speedway showed what a dirt track should look like. 👏🏁

From everyone at the Tri-State Prostock Series, we appreciate the effort and want to recognize the entire Petaluma Speedway team.

🏁 THE HISTORY OF PRO STOCK RACING — WHERE IT ALL STARTED 🏁

When I think about Pro Stock racing, I don’t just think about race cars.

I think about where it came from.

I think about the old cars, the small shops, the late nights in the garage, and the racers who built these machines with whatever they had. There wasn’t always a big budget or a professional crew. A lot of the time, it was a driver, a few friends, a garage, and a whole lot of determination.

That’s what made Pro Stock racing special.

These cars were born from the idea that you could take something that looked like a stock car, build some serious horsepower, put it on dirt, and go see who could get around the track the fastest.

As the years went by, the cars evolved.

Engines got more powerful. Chassis became more sophisticated. Suspension technology changed. Tires, shocks, setups and fabrication all continued to advance.

But the heart of Pro Stock racing never really changed.

It’s always been about the people.

I’ve heard the stories about the drivers who could make an old car do things nobody thought possible. I’ve heard about the legendary builders, the crew members who could fix anything in the pits, and the car owners who would do whatever it took to get their cars back on the track.

I’ve seen how one generation passes that knowledge down to the next.

And that’s something I don’t ever want us to lose.

Because when we talk about Pro Stock history, we shouldn’t just talk about championships and trophies.

We should talk about the drivers who showed up every Saturday night.

The families who spent their summers at the race track.

The crew members who worked until sunrise.

The builders who turned ordinary cars into race-winning machines.

The tracks that gave these racers a place to compete.

And the fans who kept coming back, race after race.

Some of these names are still well known.

Others may have been forgotten over the years.

But every one of them played a part in getting Pro Stock racing to where it is today.

So I’m asking everyone who has been around this sport for a while:

The Tri-State Prostock Series is more than just a race series — it’s a fight for every position, every point, and every inch of racetrack. When these Prostocks roll through the gates, you know you’re in for a night of hard racing, close battles, and drivers leaving absolutely nothing on the table!

Every race brings a new story. Some drivers are chasing wins. Some are fighting their way toward the top of the points standings. Others are simply looking to put their name on the map. But when the green flag drops, none of that matters — it’s all about who can get to the checkered flag first. 🏆
