A huge thank you to Prater and Sons for the outstanding concrete work they have completed for us not only this year, but over the years at our pool facility!
From helping improve the appearance of our grounds to creating safer and more functional spaces for our patrons, their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail have made a lasting impact on our facility. Projects like these don’t happen without great community partners, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support and dedication.

🚨 Important Notice Regarding Life Jackets 🚨
It is extremely disappointing that we even have to make this post, but several of our life jackets have been taken from the facility.
These life jackets were originally purchased specifically for our camps serving individuals with disabilities to help ensure their safety and participation in aquatic activities. Over time, we chose to make them available for all patrons to use because we believed our community would respect and care for them.
Unfortunately, that trust has been broken.
We will be reviewing security camera footage to identify those responsible. Anyone found taking park property will be subject to prosecution and may also lose facility privileges.
Life jackets are not inexpensive, and replacing stolen equipment takes resources away from programs and services that benefit our community. More importantly, every life jacket that disappears is one less available for a child or participant who genuinely needs it.
If anyone accidentally took a life jacket home, we encourage you to return it immediately—no questions asked.
We hate that it has come to this, but we have a responsibility to protect the equipment entrusted to us and ensure it remains available for those who need it most.
Thank you to the many patrons who respect our facility and help us keep it a safe and welcoming place for everyone. 💛🧡

🌩️ Weather Update for Today 🌩️
Once again, Mother Nature has other plans.
Based on the latest information from Emergency Management, this is not a matter of if severe weather will impact our area, but when. We are taking this storm system seriously and will be following all recommendations and guidance provided.
At this time, FPAC will open at Noon. However, severe storms and damaging winds are currently expected to arrive around 3:00 PM.
With that in mind, we are asking that all camps depart the facility by 2:00 PM to ensure everyone has plenty of time to travel safely and is not caught in the approaching weather.
As always, the safety of our patrons, campers, and staff is our utmost priority. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and provide updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please stay weather aware and have a safe day.
