This weekend, our Nemesis 12U White team loaded up and headed to Cookeville for a weekend full of softball, memories, and time together and what a weekend it was!
This is a talented group of young athletes, and they are continuing to learn what it truly means to be a team. We knew going into the weekend that the road wouldn’t be easy. The competition was tough, the games were close, and the heat was definitely a challenge, but these girls never stopped battling.
We know the scoreboard only tells part of the story. It doesn’t show the little moments of growth, the confidence being built or the bonds that come from spending an entire weekend together competing, laughing, and learning.
And then there were the moments away from the field karaoke, pool time, pizza, plenty of laughs, and memories these girls will carry with them long after the weekend is over. Those are the moments that make this sport so special.
We’re incredibly proud of how these girls showed up, competed, supported one another, and continued to grow together. There’s still so much ahead for this team, and we’re excited to watch them continue to build, learn, and become the team we know they can be.
Back to practice this week, and then we’re back on the dirt in Gallatin this weekend!
