We gotta have a deep conversation about basketball. I keep seeing this certain debate going down and wanted to provide my own context to it with some information and a poll (if possible) so let's get into it

I'm sure you know who this debate is about if you follow the NBA like I do but leaving names out and just focusing on the overall games each player had, break it down game by game, who had the better series? I say player 1 had the better series because other than game 3, he was consistent unlike player 2 who had 2 great games followed by 2 ehhhh games, a triple double in game 4 is great but shooting 41% from the field and 0% from 3 makes me side with player 1 for game 4 as he showed out on both ends of the court. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but this debate has been getting a lot of traction without substance and of course I have to add that to the debate. You really can't go wrong choosing either player but I just feel like if we're talking about each individual game instead of averages for the series, player 1 beats player 2 imo 🤷🏽‍♂️

I see people complaining about the calls for OKC but considering that both teams ended up with 22 fouls and OKC only shot 5 more free throws, I can tell that most of these "fans" run with narratives than actually watching the game to understand the game. You could take away SGAs free throws and OKC would've STILL won the game by 15 points! Last night's game wasn't won at the free throw line or by the refs, last night's game was won because one team came to play basketball and one team came to complain to the refs 🤷🏽‍♂️ Minnesota scored 88 points and mfs are like look at the refs! Ant REALLY does have some MJ like fans these days 😒

Trade 2:

MIA gets a new superstar, MEM allows Scotty Pippen Jr to grow. Sorry but I believe in the rumor that Ja might be traded this summer, both him & the franchise need a new start. The best part about this trade, both teams would get better. Wiggins is the 3 MEM needs, Ja would have the disciplined front office he needs as to where I think MEM lacks that same leadership. Back to Wiggins being the 3 that MEM needs, Wiggins has been a disappointment but that's because expectations have been sky high everywhere he has been so far. In MEM, they shouldn't have those same expectations as this team would get a boost defensively while downgrading just a bit on offense. Bane isn't a TRUE 3, he's a shooting guard being asked to start at the 3 most nights, with Wiggins you can move him back to the 2. Ja will make MIA exciting again plus the trio of Ja/Herro/Bam would be a very interesting trio to see as their games are completely different than each other. Herro is a shooter, Ja is the complete overall star & Bam is the def 2 way big. The 2 FRPs will make the deal more acceptable by MEM 🤷🏽‍♂️ the biggest kicker is Terry Rozier's expiring contract which will free up 26.6 mil next offseason when apparently there's a lot of big free agents slated to test free agency. They would be able to offer whatever they wanted to players of the likes of Luka & more

Trade 3:

Due to the new CBA, KD is going to be harder to trade than expected for PHX, this is the one trade that could benefit both teams. I think the Clippers need a flat out scoring machine, they might lose a lil def but KD can defend too. Kawhi could go back to being a 2 way extraordinare that he was in SAS before being asked to become a predominant scorer afterwards. Kawhi could go back to avg 20-23 ppg while playing tremendous def which would be needed for the Suns. Kawhi was the only matching contract that would make sense in a KD trade 🤷🏽‍♂️

Trade 4

Wemby gets his TRUE PG for the future! Fox isn't a passing PG & the mesh just didn't seem to work with Wemby even in limited time together on the court. One thing about Trae, he'll get EVERYONE involved plus his defensive issues could be resolved by Wemby. I think Fox would get to go back to being the player he was for the Kings in ATL which is a score first PG. He'll have some good young players to build with in Jalen & Zach. Fox isn't the type of PG that could lead a team with his playmaking abilities, Trae is and that's exactly what Wemby needs because when CP3 was going off on offense while playmaking, the Spurs looked like a force to be reckoned with! Fox goes off as far as scoring but I rarely see him have high scoring/assists games which shows his playmaking isn't at the level of Trae 🤷🏽‍♂️

Zion becomes a Bull

The Pels need height & they get it with Vuc, Pat & a FRP. Zion needs a bigger market to showcase his full abilities (which is an intangible that Zion doesn't seem to internally have) to the basketball world. I don't think even at full strength you will get much out of this Pelicans roster. Zion would be worth a lot more if his health wasn't a question for any team that decides to make a trade for him. That's why I think a FRP & 2 SRP should suffice for Zion who is a difference maker but is questionable to be on the court. Maybe Mike could mentor him into being the "killa on the court" that he needs to be

I love WrestleMania but this has to be the worst scheduling for WrestleMania ever 😂 sorry WWE but I love the NBA way more and definitely the playoffs 🤣 🤷🏽‍♂️
