If you're completely new, try to start with a Track Event such as Track Night in America before climbing the Time Attack ladder. "The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too."

Not ready for Time Attack? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! If you have never been on track or haven’t hit the track in a while, this event is perfect for you. You’ll receive instruction from coaches and learn while you share the track with others.

Tackle the 2-mile, 16-turn track with elevation changes, certain to deliver a great learning experience. Though your laps will not be timed, you will receive plenty of time on the track. Over the weekend the Atlanta Region F&C crew helped Greenpower_USA at their national championship at Talladega Superspeedway! We are so happy to support this growing organization’s mission to promote and amplify STEM education from elementary to college through the building and racing of electric cars.

This weekend there were over 200 teams from all over the South, making it one of the top events at the storied track. It's such an exciting experience to see all that the students worked so hard toward, we cannot wait for the 2026 - 2027 season!

Join us on Saturday, May 30th at Atlanta Motorsports Park for the Atlanta Region’s first Time Attack / Track Event of the season! Make sure to register at MotorsportReg.com and read the supps! For Time Attack, registration is $440 and $365 for the Track Event.

To be eligible, all TA/TE drivers must:
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a valid state driver’s license
- a full or weekend SCCA membership.
- One of the following: A SCCA TA License, NASA TT License (Full), SCCA Road Race Novice or Full Competition License, or competition licenses from other sanctioning bodies per the General Competition Rules is accepted.

This event is held under both the current Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Time Trials rules and regulations Track Day rules and regulations.

The Atlanta Region is happy to host the Tire Rack Street Survival for teen drivers and the Top Cop Challenge on Saturday, June 6th at Speedway . We are looking for both instructors and student participants for Street Survival program.

For young drivers, this program will be a day of learning and fun to help prepare them for getting on the road and getting home safe! They will receive classroom instruction plus time in the car with a coach. When driving, the student is put though a collection of exercises based on real world scenarios while driving their own car. Leave with a bit more confidence and experience after this program. And feel free to watch our Top Cop Challenge where Solo members from our region compete against members of law enforcement on the course!
