Just received the following message from a norfolk gentleman named Paul

β€œDowntown has 4 doubles teams running right now. If Park Place has got 3-5 we can get a league going. You guys in?”

Any takers?

Toast will be hosting a private event this Thursday Dec 15th, so CLUB NIGHT will be bumped up a day early to Wednesday the 14th.

Same goes for Thursday Dec 29th. CLUB NIGHT will be held the day before on Wednesday Dec 28th.

Yes this is a thing. Technology and ingenuity have combined to break down barriers to entry in order to play an originally upper-class, aristocratic/bourgeoisie parlor game.

However we here at Park Place Ping-Pong Club have 2 solid, dedicated tables towards the full unbridled freedom of this table sport. Every thursday, 7-midnight come witness community through sport and diversity.

Congrats to our first tournament winners on 11/12, The Inaugural Fall Classic Showdown. There were approximately 10 contestants, excluding spectators and ran through two rounds of single elimination, one for seeding and one for pool play. The supreme pong champion Kevin and runner-up for supreme pong champion Dookie both won prizes from our gracious sponsor: Toast.

Based on the success of our initial tournament, some good news is that we are working on a follow-up tournament tba soon and with two tables now thanks to C.J., we will have the opportunity to involve a wider spectrum of skill levels. If any of our members have further ideas regarding any upcoming tourneys, we welcome your thoughts directly to us either in person or via message.

Got a second table from a kind philanthropist making the community πŸ‘πŸΎ! This increases our capacity by 100% beating our quarterly projections. 😎

Now there's no reason to use waiting time as an excuse to not come by Thursday's from 7pm-12am and get your Ping on!

Shoutout to CJ for the competitive table! See you all tonight!
