Their tournament journey came to an end last night in the District 8 Semifinal against APLL, but the scoreboard doesn't tell the story of this team.

These girls competed with heart, determination, and grit every time they stepped onto the field. They represented Azalea Little League with pride, battled until the final out, and never stopped believing in each other.

This team showed what it means to wear Azalea across your chest. Through long practices, tough games, big moments, and challenges along the way, they continued to fight together as one team.

While the season didn't end the way they hoped, they have so much to be proud of. The memories made, friendships strengthened, lessons learned, and growth shown throughout this All-Star run will last far longer than any final score.

To our players, coaches, and families: thank you for representing Azalea with class, sportsmanship, and pride.

🌟 It Was the Night Before All-Stars 🌟

’Twas the night before All-Stars, and all through the town,
Young players were dreaming as the sun settled down.
Their uniforms hung neatly, their cleats by the door,
Ready for memories and moments galore.

The bats had been polished, the gloves broken in,
Each player imagining the games they might win.
But beyond every scoreboard, beyond every play,
Was the journey that brought them to this special day.

The long summer practices, the dirt and the sweat,
The lessons from losses they never forget.
The cheers from their families, the friendships they made,
The countless hours of effort that helped build this parade.

Some dreamed of big hits sailing high through the sky,
Some pictured great catches as line drives flew by.
Some hoped for a strikeout, a steal, or a run,
But all shared the honor of being among the chosen ones.

Coaches reviewed lineups while parents packed snacks,
Double-checking jerseys, belts, and bat bags.
The excitement was growing with each passing hour,
Like a team gathering strength before finding its power.

And as the stars twinkled above the ball field’s bright lights,
The players drifted off into baseball-filled nights.
For tomorrow begins a new chapter to tell,
A chance to represent Azalea and represent it well.
