Hi Park’s Taekwondo families & students!

Our sport taekwondo competition team, Team Park Sport Taekwondo, will be sending 7 athletes to represent our Park’s Taekwondo Academy & Park’s U.S. Tae Kwon Do Center (Independence) in the 2026 USA Taekwondo Nationals in Charlotte, North Carolina this July!

Our athletes that represent our schools and the community will fight for the chance to be #1 in the country, and a National Champion in USA Taekwondo! Last year, we sent 3 athletes, and came back with a National Champion Gold Medalist & a Silver Medalist!

We need your help & support for our team and athletes! Our Team Park athletes work very hard with Master Caressa in training their mental and physical abilities in Olympic-style Taekwondo! Our athletes train hard to be the best fighters they can be! As their first and returning national competition, fees can be very expensive, and we would like to alleviate costs for our athletes and their families so that we can support them properly!

With your donation, fees can be decreased to help our athletes and families get closer for the chance to fulfill their goals and dreams at the 2026 USATKD Nationals! Any and every donation will be put towards the team's travel, stay, and competition expenses! Anything and everything helps! Please donate, and spread the word! Bring our team to nationals! On September 6th, we celebrated a very special milestone — our Black Belt Graduation!

We began with a meaningful candle ceremony and a big bow of respect to masters and parents. It was an emotional moment — some of our students (and parents!) couldn’t hold back their tears when they hugged each other.

Each student received their Black Belt and certificate, a reward for years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance.

After the ceremony, we shared a wonderful potluck together. Thank you to all the parents and black belt students for your support.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Congratulations!
