What a great game! Maury Softball showed up today at their game vs Norview for the W! Here’s the recap ICYMI....

Maury fired up the offense in the first inning scoring a run when Lexi Diggs doubled.

Maury was on fire, scoring three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Kayla Delpino and an error on a ball put in play by Kathryn Nashold.

Nashold pitched Maury to victory. She went seven innings, allowing five runs on 11 hits and striking out two.

Miranda Smith took the loss for Norview. She lasted seven innings, allowing 12 hits and ten runs while striking out seven.

Maury managed through a push by Norview in the seventh inning where Maury coughed up four runs, but Maury still won 10-5 on Tuesday. Norview's big inning was driven by singles by Leah Wisswell and Courtney Carter, an error on a ball put in play by Fayth Soblotne, and a double by Nadia Pittman.

Maury tallied 12 hits. Vanessa Sarafine, Sam Wilcox, and Nashold each collected multiple hits for Maury. Sarafine led The team with three hits in five at bats.

Norview collected 11 hits. Wisswell, Tori Ruiz, and Carter all managed multiple hits for Norview.

Vanessa Sarafine threw a shutout to lead Maury Softball past Lake Taylor 10-0 on Thursday.

Maury Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning and scored two runs when Jahlia Jordan singled.

Maury scored four runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by Chyann Saunders and Jordan and an error on a ball put in play by Kendra Lewis.

A single by R Ortiz in the third inning was a positive for Lake Taylor.

Sarafine led things off in the circle for Maury. She surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six and walking zero.

M Collins started the game for Lake Taylor. She surrendered ten runs on six hits over three innings.

Maury tallied six hits on the day. Jess Vincent and Jordan each had multiple hits to lead the team.

Maury Softball Varsity had everything working on Friday, winning big over Wilson 13-1

Scoring five runs in the fourth inning. Maury big bats were led by Allie Etheridge, Jahlia Jordan, Ashanti Barnes, Vanessa Sarafine, and Kayla Delpino all knocking in runs in the inning.

Kathryn Nashold was the winning pitcher for Maury. She went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out 11.
