Here’s our schedule reminder for this week:

🌅Tuesday (5:30 AM): Pre-Sunrise Run.
📍Bay Oaks Park. Meet at the park sign by 3rd Bay.
💡It is getting dark; running ligjhs recommended!

🔵Thursday (6 PM): Group Run/Walk.
📍 Ocean View Fishing Pier

🟡Saturday (**7️⃣AM): Long/Weekend Run.
📍 Yoolks on Us (515 Washington St, Portsmouth).
We will be running parts of the Elizabeth River Run 10K course. For longer run, continue on High St.
‼️Reminder: we are back to 7:00 meetups starting September; if you prefer to start early, feel free to do so!

🏃🏃🏽‍♀️Local races this weekend includes: the all-new Super Girl 5K at the VB Oceanfront

☀️It’s been a hot Summer, but Fall is right around the corner. Looking forward to happier and cooler weather🍂🍁

🌅Tuesdays (5:30 AM): Pre-Sunrise Run. If you are an early bird, come and join us. Please note: it is getting dark again so get those running lights charged and ready.

☀️Thursdays (6 PM): group run/walk and social. Open to everyone! Let’s stay active/get moving and support local businesses.

🌞Saturdays (**7 AM). Weekend/long run.
We are heading back to some of our favorite routes [& new one/s]; get those miles and be ready for Fall races. **As some of you know, our Saturday meetup time changes per season. Please note: we’re back to 7:00 meetup starting in September (of course, starting early is always an option)

Fall races are coming soon; let’s continue to support each other in getting those miles and sharing smiles!

Each year, we get together and run the CHKD RunWalk for the Kids in support of the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD).
This year, the race was moved from May to August. It was a really hot & humid morning…but we did it. Great job team.
Let’s do it again next year..and see you all next week!

It was a humid evening, so great work getting those miles in. Post-run, we enjoyed dinner/drinks, fellowship, and some runners got lucky winning those free race entries.

Hot & humid run from Yorgo’s towards Downtown, thru the Ghent, ERT and finished at Running Etc to meet and hangout with the running community, some free snacks, shoe demo, raffle and early access shopping.
Then we all walked back to Yorgo’s for some delicious breakfast. It was a great morning to start the day.
