Nobody likes to hear this, but aging is not the problem.

Losing muscle is the problem.

After 30, women naturally begin losing muscle mass every year. If you don’t do strength training, that loss accelerates. Your metabolism slows down, body fat increases, bones become weaker, balance declines, and everyday activities become harder.

That “getting old” feeling most people talk about?

A lot of it is actually getting weaker.

People often inquire why I maintain such a disciplined training regimen at the age of 67.

The answer is straightforward: I cannot afford to become complacent as I grow older.

I still have meaningful goals to accomplish, aspirations to pursue, and people who depend on my support. Most importantly, I continue to uphold personal standards and embrace challenges that foster growth and development.

Age itself is seldom the factor that limits individuals. More often, it is the decision to accept limitations, rely on excuses, or believe that their most productive years are behind them.

At 67, I remain committed to moving forward, expanding my knowledge, developing my abilities, and pursuing increasingly ambitious objectives. My mission is to help others recognize what I have discovered: a life guided by purpose, resilience, and a compelling reason to greet each day with determination.
