This spring has been devastating for so many Oklahomans. My wish is that we gather together and hold compassionate space for one another.
Whether you've been struck with storm damage, or you are experiencing the stressors of everyday life, I invite you to participate daily at 7:50am-8:00am CT in an online Zoom group focused on cultivating gratitude.
The intentional cultivation of gratitude is essential for a content and happy mind and life. It is in our human nature to focus more on what we lack, rather than what is going well in our life. When we take mindful time to acknowledge 1-3 things we are thankful for in our life, we begin to re-train our mind to turn towards the wonderful abundance that is available to us in each moment.
This free group will be just 10 minutes each morning Monday-Friday, to come together in community and share in gratitude.

How often during the day do you find yourself lost in thoughts of the past or thoughts of the future? If we can begin being more present in our experiences, we can begin finding ease and peace within the body and mind.
I invite you to select one activity that you do regularly, maybe washing your hands, and when you do the selected activity-be fully present. Experience this activity with freshness and curiosity to all the sensations occurring. ❤️

In times of difficulty and overwhelm, it can truly seem as if it will last forever. Thoughts, emotions, sensations, circumstances, and people are continually shifting and are not permanent. When we turn to our own internal state to find calm and ease, we can better dance with the flow of life. ❤️

Letting go and being with what arises in each moment, without fighting or avoiding our experience, is certainly easier said than done. If we can sit and hold what arises for even one minute, we can start to foster compassion for ourselves and in turn, offer this compassion to others.
