Our latest podcast guest is softball player Cortni Emanuel! 🎉
Cortni played softball for the Georgia Bulldogs. She is a devout Christian, a realtor, a coach and a student at Houston Christian University. She is studying to become a counselor for student athletes and will complete her degree in the Summer of 2024. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and learning all things health.
In this podcast, we talk about healing from MRSA, the decision to retire playing softball, and moving on to be a sports counselor.

Mariah Mulcahy was one of the first athletes to do an interview with us.
Mariah played softball in college. She loves crossfit and going on adventures in the PNW.
The other day, Mariah and her partner Rick welcomed their baby girl Gracie Jean into the world 💕
We are so proud of Mariah and can’t wait to follow along on her new journey with her family. 🧸

🏅 Rose Medal Athlete Highlight 🏅
Liz Watkins is one of our founding board members and is passionate about Rose Medal’s mission.
Liz played softball in college. She loves being outdoors, hiking, playing catch with her husband, and playing fetch with her dog Willow. Soon she’ll also be playing fetch with her puppy Bunsen when he gets to go home with her and Caleb in a few days.
Over the last few months, Liz has had a couple of big accomplishments!
She got a new job as the Assistant Director of Athletic Compliance for Oklahoma State University. 🍊
She and her husband Caleb bought a house together. 🏠
