An unforgettable day for our program at the Oklahoma State Capitol as Norman North Cheer was recognized for our back-to-back State Stunt Championships! 💚🐺

To see our athletes honored in such a meaningful place was incredibly special and a reminder of how hard these girls have worked to build something truly exceptional together. The dedication, sacrifices, early mornings, late nights, and belief in one another continue to make this program something we are so proud of.

A huge thank you to Representative Jacob Rosecrants, the staff at the Capitol, and NPS Communications for helping make this experience so memorable for our team. Your support and recognition mean so much to our athletes, coaches, sponsors, and families.

📣Sideline Sponsor:
Kennedy Isaac is from Norman and an AA at Norman North. She is a former All-Star cheerleader, NCA National Champion, and ASC National Champion. Kennedy has a deep love for North and is excited to give back to the cheer program that she loves so much!

🤸JV Coach + Sponsor:
Katie Wiedemann is a Norman native and proud NNHS alum. Katie cheered at Northern Oklahoma College and UCO, competing five years at NCA Nationals and earning a national title. Her experience includes All-Star coaching, UCA staff, high school coaching, judging, and serving as a STUNT official. This will be her second year with Norman North Cheer, and she is excited for another great season.

🏆Skills Coach:
Cheyenne Patrick is from the Norman/Moore area and graduated from Westmoore High School. She is a teacher and mentor both in the classroom and out through her passion for cheer. Cheyenne has over 20 years of cheer experience, including being a proud Oklahoma State alum and Team USA Cheer member. She has extensive experience as a competitive and also high school cheer coach. She has helped develop this program for the past four years and has helped lead North Cheer to two State Stunt Championships.

🐺Competition Sponsor:
Blake Yohn is one of the newest additions to the program and brings great experience to this team. He cheered four years at Oklahoma City University and one year at the University of Oklahoma. Blake competed at Nationals all five years of his college career and won a National Championship at OCU. He also competed in All-Star cheer at Worlds and NCA, and as a NN teacher, he is excited to support NNHS Cheer both on and off the mat.

Today we celebrate the women who are behind every early morning practice, every competition weekend, every tear, every victory, and every unforgettable moment. Thank you for the countless rides, the pep talks, the encouragement, the sacrifices, and the unconditional love you pour into this program and into your athletes every single day.

To our senior moms…thank you for growing alongside your daughters through every season of cheer and life. You have helped shape not only strong athletes, but strong young women. Your support has left a lasting impact on this program, our coaches, and every teammate lucky enough to be part of this family.

North Cheer would not be what it is without the dedication, heart, and love of our moms. We are endlessly grateful for all you do behind the scenes and beside us every step of the way.
