Meet Chad. Chad’s been in the cycling industry since 1999. He’s contributed to the industry as a service specialist, industry rep, and competitive racer. He oversees operations at NBRHD and is our encyclopedia of bicycles. He currently hosts the road ride known as Velo Dogs.

As much as we love super bikes, we also love a good around town cruiser. Something to roll at low speeds.
We rebuilt this Specialized HardRock trying to use as many of the stock parts as possible. How would you build it? Keep it stock or modernize?

We got our hands on the 2025 Scott Addict RC, and after a couple local group rides, we give it two big thumbs up. For being such a lightweight build, we’re impressed with its power, both in and out of the saddle. There’s no hesitation getting it to speed and from there, it just keeps rolling fast for days. Meet Sarah, co-owner of Neighborhood! Sarah’s been in the bicycle industry since late 2015. She competitively raced amateur mtb, road/crit and cx from 2008-2018. She works in the shop as part of the Neighborhood crew and will likely be the friendly voice at the other end of the phone, or when you stop in.

When one of our steadfast clients wanted to build a fast bike for the local group rides, our answer was of course, yes! let’s do this.
Modeled after the EF Education team bikes, this thing turned out to be featherweight light (60cm), high performance, and beautiful.
