TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY‼️
In just 4 months:
⬇️ 16.9lbs
⬇️ 6.6% body fat
⬆️ 2.2lbs of muscle
Here is ’s story:
I work in an office job, so my work days were often sedentary. Often followed by sedentary evenings during the work week. By the time the weekend came I was often too “exhausted” to be active, with the weekends usually including easy meals (takeout). Every 6-8 months I would attempt a crash diet paired with outdoor running for exercise. Usually dropping any commitment and cycling right back to my unhealthy routine.
My first experience was a little intimidating, but I was in my own head. Seeing all of the “Rockers” jumping right into the workouts, and feeling behind. But that quickly vanished after the first week. With the structure, walkthroughs and guidance immediately provided by Coach Brandon I could start to focus more on the movements and join the positive community at Solid Rock. From fist bumps to high fives, it quickly became apparent that we are all there for the same mission and to push one another to be better.
The flexibility of the class schedules and quick results I have seen have kept me coming back consistently. Including muscle tone, body fat regulation, strength, mobility, SLEEP and mental health. Seeing the results also helps greatly in understanding and watching my diet. Not letting what I eat set back any progress I have made at Solid Rock, and focusing on those foods that actually promote energy, performance and recovery.
My Wife, Lynsey, has been a member of the Solid Rock family for 5 years. She tried to have me sign up for years (those who know Lynsey understand, she can be pretty persuasive😉) but ultimately allowed me to make my own choice to start my journey. It has honestly been one of the best decisions of my life for not only keeping a functioning body but for my stress and mental health. Every time I “clock in” it is an opportunity to divert all of the stress work/life brings my way and reset. It’s never too late to start!

The hardest part is usually the “what ifs.”
What if I don’t fit in?
What if I fail?
What if everyone judges me?
What if I can’t stay consistent?
But what if…
this is the place that changes everything?
What if you find confidence again?
What if you realize you were capable all along?
What if the people around you actually cheer you on instead of tear you down?
Sometimes the life you want is waiting on the other side of one scary first step. 🤍
