🧵 Bertha is back at it today…

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know Bertha has a personality of her own. Some days she’s an absolute rockstar… and other days she reminds me who’s really in charge. 😅

Today she’s behaving herself and stitching out a custom hat patch that’s headed to its new hat.

I never get tired of watching a design come together one stitch at a time. It’s a good reminder that handmade takes time, patience, and occasionally a little negotiating with the embroidery machine. 😂

👉 You don’t need a huge tack room full of expensive gear to have a well-turned-out horse.

Good equipment that fits, a little attention to detail, and taking care of what you own will beat a pile of trendy gadgets every time.

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I’ll be having surgery soon and will be taking a short break to recover.
