We’re excited to officially introduce Emily Spartz as the new Head Varsity Cheer Coach at Norman High School!

Emily brings a powerful blend of experience in education, athletics, and leadership. With a background in college athletics, teaching, and coaching across multiple states, she is passionate about building strong teams, developing confident athletes, and creating a positive, high-energy culture.

So proud of our four NHS Varsity Cheer athletes who competed this weekend at NCA in Houston.

Jourdan Sumo, Channing French, and Genevieve Schade are officially National Champions in their Senior Co-Ed Level 5 division 🏆 and Rainee Stumblingbear-Riddle competed on her Junior Level 4 division team finishing 4th on a national stage.

To compete at this level takes courage, preparation, and serious work. To finish at the top- and in the top four in the nation — is something special.

They represented Norman High with strength and confidence, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Yesterday in Irving, Texas, three of our very own NHS Varsity Cheerleaders took the national stage — and brought HOME the titles.

Competing at Bravo Spirit The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Nationals, they were crowned:

🥇 National Champions – Senior Level 5 Co-Ed

🏆 Overall Level Champions

The talent. The grit. The hours in the gym.The mental toughness. The teamwork. It all showed.

We are beyond proud of these athletes for representing NHS with excellence on a NATIONAL stage. You continue to raise the bar and set the standard. 💫
