Went back to brew.coffeelab to put one of my vintage 1/18 scale Touring cars on the awesome retro display. This is my HPI Racing Micro RS4 with an old school prolineracing Protoform Stratus body. I used to race this chassis at the basement track at Strictly R/C Hobbies back in 2005-2006. Stop by Brew Coffee Lab in Park Ridge to check it out and grab an incredible coffee! I highly recommend the Iced Chocolate Banana Cream Latte or the Chocolate Churro Latte!

When your girlfriend wants to get coffee at a place she found on TikTok and it turns out to be an RC racers dream! in Park Ridge, IL. I have so many of the RC’s on that shelf! Love the Losi Micro-T! Awesome coffee and the Croffle was epic!

Starting in 2027, the Damore Motorsports Race Team is taking our commitment on the track to the next level with the introduction of a formal Losi NASCAR RC racing program. We are building a space specifically designed to mentor and reward the next generation of RC racers, while simultaneously giving experienced drivers a premier environment to compete. To help discover and develop this talent, we will be seeding our prospects from local clubs such as the Kenosha R/C Drivers Academy, HobbyTown Batavia Raceway, Parkside Raceway, and more! We will be meticulously selective when evaluating drivers for contention, looking for the right mix of talent, sportsmanship, and drive. To ensure our selected drivers can focus purely on their race-craft, Damore Motorsports will provide the race-ready chassis and body, and handle the crucial maintenance and upkeep required to compete week in and week out. We are treating this just like a full-scale NASCAR Cup Series team would operate...just on a smaller scale

Road America provided a breathtaking and historic backdrop for an unforgettable weekend of racing. We made the most of the experience by camping out, venturing around the massive grounds, and we even sneaked into the infield for some late-night practice sessions on the RC track at roughly 2:00 AM! Don’t worry, the track security team was cool with it and absolutely awesome, showing us so much support and making us feel incredibly welcome.

Sunday was race day for us. I ran Losi NASCAR, made my debut in Euro Truck, and returned to outdoor touring car racing for the first time since 2009.

While the NASCAR race was a struggle—qualifying fourth but fighting for grip, especially in the Main—Euro Truck was an absolute thrill, featuring a back-and-forth battle for the lead with Carl Seils. What made it truly surreal was battling for position on the RC track while the GT World Challenge America sports car series was literally thundering past us in the background! It is such an incredibly awesome and unique experience to share the grounds with a world-class motorsport event. The true highlight of it all was cheering on Lauren in her Losi NASCAR debut, where she qualified second and drove hard to finish fourth. Also our teammates Adam for winning the Sportman class and Tori for coming in second in Losi NASCAR Novice!

We are so thankful as hobbyists to have the support of such a famous track and felt genuine love from the entire staff. Big thanks to Tyler and everyone at the Sheboygan RC Club and Road America for hosting us and treating us like we were as important as the teams and racers on the big track! Also want to give a shout out to all our friends and Kenosha R/C for putting on a clinic on the track and putting up some great performances and the brands that helped to support this event, including NC DESIGNS and Everty Hobbies!

This is the types of events that we are striving to create and support. From the sounds of it, Road America was super impressed with the event and are open to hosting another race next year! You can count us in and we would love to have a hand in the planning and promoting process!

Definitely an event we will never forget!

Damore Motorsports Losi NASCAR program has expanded to a two car operation! Introducing the #99 entry driven by Lauren! She made her debut this weekend at the Road America RC Race qualifying second in her class and coming home 4th! Watch out for the twin flames competing together in more events in the near future!
