I don’t usually get on my soapbox, but this happens all the time. This set of doubles was just oxygen cleaned and visually inspected. The tanks are a balls of rust inside. The rust that you see is not pitting. It is actual rust sticking up off the bottom. It’s hard to get a good picture, but I tried. This little bit I dumped out was only what was loose. That doesn’t mean there isn’t more stuck together. I know it’s a big investment to do oxygen cleaning and tumbling tanks. If you’re unwilling to do it right please don’t put the rest of us at risk of getting hurt. This is why I only accept our visual inspections for blended gas. Not only did the customer pay for this the first time now he has to pay to have it done right. This is just blatantly risking someone’s life by laziness. When you bring a tank in for oxygen cleaning, it should be tumbled while it is more work; but isn’t your life and the customer’s life worth the time? Do it right and show some integrity
