Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance A nonprofit on a mission to create, maintain, & protect sustainable trails for all riders across Washington State.

Evergreen is the largest statewide MTB Advocacy and trail-building organization in the United States. We partner with land managers, communities and user groups to create great trails all over the state. Started in 1989 to just gain access to a few existing trails, we've become the leader in trail development, construction and maintenance for the region.s

🚵 The trails we ride don’t come out of nowhere.

Somebody’s Saturday went into that tread. Somebody showed up with a shovel. Somebody’s membership dues helped pay for the tools, trail work, youth programs, advocacy, and planning that keep our local trails moving forward.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance September Membership Drive is on, and $50 gets you in.

🌲 Here’s the important part: When you join, make sure you select CENTRAL as your chapter. That helps ensure your membership supports the trails and programs right here in our local community.

Membership is more than signing up. It’s how we show up.

We ride together. We dig together. We build trails that didn’t exist before. And even if you can’t make every work party, becoming a member is another way to help make all of that possible.

Already riding the trails? Help keep building them.

Over 20 companies give Evergreen Members an insider discount.

Some are the ones you'd guess. Components. Apparel. Eyewear. A fairly popular trail app you probably have open in another tab right now…

Some are more specific to this particular life. A saw. Trail tools. A hotel by the Bellingham airport, which, if you know, you know.

There are also independent bike shops in Spokane, North Bend, Ellensburg, Port Townsend, and the Methow Valley that will take care of you.

But none of this is why people join, really. Every survey we run says the same thing, which is that they join for the trails.

But if you've been on the fence about $50, our member discount list is one more reason to join.

403 volunteer hours took three miles of the Saltese Uplands Loop from wrecked back to rideable. 300 hours built 1.75 miles of flow at Number Two Canyon. Goldilocks at the Loup is 1.5 miles in and will be the longest trail in the network when it's done.

Members pay for that. $50 for the year, and your dues stay in your chapter. Join or renew this month and there's a member gift in it too.

8,400+ riders fund Washington's mountain bike trails through Evergreen. Join for $50, back your chapter, and save at 20+ partner shops.

Three miles of trail took 403 hours.

That's the Saltese Uplands Loop outside Spokane. Braided, dished, coming apart at the edges.

Our teams put in 403 hours and about $2,500, and now it's a trail you can walk, run, or ride without thinking about it once.

Which is the goal, honestly. You're not supposed to notice. A trail doing its job is invisible. Nobody finishes a lap and says "wow, excellent drainage."

But somebody was out there in the dirt. Putting in the time, muscle, and sweat.

Your $50 is what gets them there.
