Our season kicks off this week!

We are off to a great start in the Esports lab! Our teams are hard at work practicing core skills, building team values, and testing our new Rally Cry platform.

As we prepare for the season kickoff the week of September 21st, please keep in mind that some matches may run past 5:00 PM. If your player does not have a personal device to contact you for pickup, please reach out to me directly. I am happy to send you a message on game days if we expect to run late.

A couple of reminders.

There is no Esports on FRIDAYS! ( unless posted )

Permission slips are due before your child can play.

After todays practice and team building, we will resume Esports on Tuesday September 8th.

Fall 2026 Esports:

Everyone who signed up received a welcome email and the orientation date:

When: September 1st from 2:30 - 3:30
Where: North Branch High School Esports Lab Room 142/143

During this time we will go over rules, expectations, schedule, permission slips, game titles, testing the new platform with returning players, and more! ( NO GAMES WILL BE PLAYED THIS DAY)

Offical Season Start:
September 21st - November 13th

Playoff Season Start: ***Pending Season Results***
November 11th - December 4th ( Ish) Final playoff schedule coming soon.

Championship Event: In-Person State University ***Pending Season Results***
December 5th & 6th

We are getting ready for another action packed Esports season.

We have a exciting year ahead of us, with a new platform ( the same MHSEL League ), new games, events, in-person championships, and more opportunities!

Esports sign up's have been sent out to ALL eligible High Schoolers via school email. You may also use the QR code below, or on our Esports poster during orientation tonight! Posters are located in the cafeteria, and on the Esports lab windows!

We are officially closing out the season! Join us for a celebration of our players' hard work and a look ahead at what’s coming next.

When: Wednesday, April 22nd

Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Who: We invite all 2025 Fall and 2026 Spring players and parents to attend. If you (or anyone you know) are interested in joining the team for next year, this is the perfect time to drop in!

Highlights:
🏆 Awards: Celebrating the MVPs and stand-outs chosen by the captains and coaching staff. ( all players have or will get one Wednesday.)
📋 Updates: Essential info for the 2026 Fall and 2027 Spring rosters.
🕹️ Gaming: Open play and group games to end the year on a high note.

We end the 2026 Spring Esports season today.

In an intense back-and-forth battle:

Game 1: 10/8 Loss

Game 2: 10/7 Win

Game 3: 10/8 Loss

XP_ was defeated by Lincoln High School 1-2, knocking our last team out of the playoffs. Every round was a highlight reel, and while the scoreboard didn't fall our way, the grit shown by our players was undeniable.

It has been quite the journey these last two seasons. We’ve integrated new teams, mentored fresh talent, and expanded into new titles.

This season wasn't just about the wins; it was about building the foundation for what North Branch Esports is becoming and the teams we built this year.

We’re headed into the off-season with our heads high and plenty of fuel for the fire.

Thank you too all the parents who allowed their kids to participate in the 25/26 Esports seasons. I am looking forward to the 26/27 School & Esports year

We gave it our all today, with some game sets being very close! Unfortunately our Super Smash Brothers team was defeated.

StarDust Smashers #32 were defeated by Jenison High School #1 | 0-3

We still have one team left in the playoffs, XP_ battles against Lincoln High School tomorrow @ 4:00pm!

North Branch KickStart #64 was knocked out of the playoffs in a very tough match up against Imlay City #10.

We still have our Super Smash Bros team heading into an epic battle against the number 1 seed Jension High School tomorrow @ 4:00pm
