The temputure in the next few days is going to be brutal. Be safe and smart. 🥵🥵🥵

•Hydrate, hrydrate, hydrate. Don’t wait until you are thirsty to drink water. You should be hydrating all day long.

•Know your body. Reduce your intensity and take frequent breaks.

•Wear lightweight, loose fitting clothing. Avoid dark colors as they absorb heat.

•Make sure you are fueling your body with proper nutrition.

It’s not just about having water right before your work out, during or after, but drinking water throughout the day to make sure you’re well hydrated before the workout starts.

Please be safe the rest of this week in this crazy heat and continue to kick butt like you always do!

Tomorrow we will honor Jakub. ❤️
We will be completing a workout built around his favorite movements in memory of a member and friend who is deeply missed.

Jakub’s strength, determination, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on our community. This workout is our way of coming together to remember him, celebrate his life, and honor the time we were fortunate enough to share with him.

This isn’t just another workout on the schedule.
Every year, we come together to take on Murph in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy and all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. What we do in the gym that day is hard—but it’s nothing compared to what they gave.
Murph is about pushing when it hurts, staying when it’s uncomfortable, and finishing with your community beside you. It’s about remembering why we have the freedom to do what we do every day.
