As the seasons start to change, so do our Scenic Skyride schedules. Here’s what the next few weeks look like:
🚡 Hudson Chair: Saturday & Sunday, September 12–13 and 19–20
🚡 Northwoods Gondola: Saturday & Sunday, September 26–27, October 3–4, and October 10–11

Join the Gore team! ❄

The Lift Operations Supervisor plays an important role in year-round mountain operations. In addition to overseeing the safe uphill transportation of guests and co-workers, this position is responsible for managing and monitoring lift attendants and operators, working closely with Lift Maintenance, conducting trainings, hiring, and more.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level.

As fall starts to sneak in, there are plenty of opportunities ahead to catch a lift ride and take in views like this! 🍂

This week marks the final days of our summer operating schedule. The Climb N’ Challenge will close after this weekend, while Hudson Chair Scenic Skyrides continue weekends only through September 20.

Then, as the leaves put on their show, Gondola Scenic Skyrides return September 26 – October 11 on weekends. 🍁

As August comes to a close, we’re starting to get those first little hints of fall around the mountain. Cooler mornings, the first signs of changing leaves, and that feeling that a new season is just around the corner. 🍁

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves thinking about winter, there’s still one of our favorite weekends on the horizon! Harvest Fest is coming up quick: October 10 & 11!

The weekend is already stacked with a lineup of new and familiar vendors, live music, and plenty of fall fun! We can’t wait!

The feeling of carving up some corduroy on a crisp morning is unparalleled. 🏂🙌

Got a young rider ready to take their snowboarding to the next level? We still have spots available in our Season Long and 6-Week Snowboard Programs for ages 7–12! With guidance from our instructors, riders will build their skills, gain confidence, make new friends, and have a blast on the mountain all season long.

Summer really has flown by! ☀️

It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the last week of August. Community Day was the perfect way to wrap up our summer events schedule, and we had a blast celebrating with everyone who came out!

There's still plenty of time to come enjoy the mountain with our regular summer activities scheduled for Wednesday–Sunday this week. And behind the scenes, we’re already starting to shift gears and get ready for what’s next. 🍂❄️

The Olympic Authority retail team recently shared how their department has evolved from a handful of stores working independently into a coordinated operation spanning eight retail locations across six Olympic Authority venues. Since establishing the department in 2022, the team has opened new stores, expanded retail experiences, and modernized operations, contributing to a 110% increase in retail sales between 2022 and 2026. Retail sales surpassed $4.4 million in FY 2025-26, with a goal of reaching $5 million in 2027, while generating an average of $4.50 in retail spending per guest. Looking ahead, the team plans to continue growing through new store improvements, data-driven inventory management, online sales capabilities, additional local and national brand partnerships, exclusive merchandise, and enhanced event merchandise offerings to further elevate the guest experience across the Olympic Authority.

He’s at the Ski Bowl making balloon animals from 12-1 and 2-3 with a special magic show from 1-2!

We also have bounce houses, lawn games, 1/2 off skyrides, Full Cort Press Coffee & Tacos food truck, Tannery Pond Center, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and North Creek Arts District !
