Connecticut — Effective Oct. 1, 2026
New commercial sales and imports of newly made Glock-pattern “convertible pistols” are restricted. If you already own one, you can keep it. This is not a confiscation and there is no new registration. Hammer-fired pistols are exempt. Private transfers between two non-dealers are not banned by this act (existing CT transfer rules still apply). V-series / Gen 6 and some clones are still unclear — the state published no model list. If you plan to buy, sell, or take in a Glock-pattern pistol after Oct. 1, check the manufacture date first.

We are about to post dates for our 1st New York Carry Permit Class. Connecticut residents are required to complete this course in order to apply for a NY permit. Once approved you can carry in NYC and the whole State of NY. This class will be broken down into 2 days. Stay a tuned.

Our Connecticut case is heading to the United States Supreme Court. What this means if the court rules in our favor then we will be allowed to buy AR15 and similar ri**es.

GRANT v HIGGINS ARGUMENTS SCHEDULED

The Supreme Court of the United States has announced our hearing date!

On December 2nd, our attorneys will make oral arguments explaining why Connecticut’s ban on the AR-15 platform and similar semiautomatic ri**es is unconstitutional.

Today, our legal team filed the opening brief in our “Assault Weapon” ban case, completing the next step toward freedom with the nation’s highest court. We are grateful for all the work by Attorneys Atkinson, Dubitsky and Fishbein as well as by SAF, FPC, Cooper & Kirk and all parties in the Viramontes case. It’s an incredible team!
