STATE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT TODAY

Congratulations to first-year wrestling competitors BJ Petersen and Jake Johnson from Floyd Central High School, who are both competing today at the state wrestling tournament!

This is an incredible achievement for a first-year wrestling program, but as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise ‘em up.

Prestonsburg Wrestling coach JR Bryant and their staff have helped Floyd Central coach Scotty Johnson get the Jaguars’ wrestling program off the mat. While the schools are rivals, it’s awesome to see Prestonsburg’s staff use their years of wrestling experience to aid Floyd Central this season.
