The Department of Recreation and Parks will be providing free lunch from June 10- August 9th for children up to 18 at over 100 parks! Through this Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), the goal is to ensure that children get at least one nutritious and balanced meal per day when school is not in session. “The Summer Lunch Program has a positive impact on the lives of more than. 5,000 children across Los Angeles who can look forward to receiving nutrients needed for an enjoyable summer” - Michael A Shull, General Manager.
