North Hollywood
Great food and drink specials during every game! If you are in the LA area and want to watch the games with fellow Bengals fans, then this group is for you. Eagle Rock is just up the road from Downtown LA... and only a few minutes from Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, etc. We have an ideal setup at 5 Line Tavern, 2136 Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock. Great food, great service, AMAZING b**r selection, and the NFL Sunday ticket to take in all the games at once! This is arguably the best place in LA to see every NFL game at one time without leaving your seat. Cincinnati Bengals Fans have preferential treatment with regards to the location of their TV, surround-sound volume on every Bengals game, despite there being representatives of other NFL teams at the bar. The Orange & Black are #1, every week. Write-ups from the past, referring to our beloved old home in Pasadena:
"For four years 72 North in Pasadena has hosted 50 to 75 loyal Bengals fans for weekly games during the football season. The owner (a Dolphins fan) welcomes their annual Cincinnati chili cook-off and tolerates their rituals. He once walked out onto the patio to find a group surreptitiously burning an opposing team’s stuffed mascot." (Los Angeles Magazine, September 2013)
"Like most NFL teams, there are places from Palmdale to Paloma to watch the Cincinnati Bengals play football. I have seen 30 fans in numerous locale(s)... not surprising given their USC ties. That said, Pasadena, CA is THE place to be if you are a diehard fan. A little bit of Cincinnati seems to own a chunk of this killer sports bar in Pasadena. The Bengals' biggest fans root there. Their group is not yet giant in size, but will be soon. Jump in before the bandwagon fills up." (THE LA WORD 'Monster Sports Issue' 10/11, 2009)
