Tomorrow night belongs to Lux Vrin .

Ballroom Part 2. Monday August 10 at 8:00 PM. Part 1 set the foundation. This is where it goes up a level. Come get on the floor with him.

There will also be a beginner section happening at the same time if you want to learn the basics.

And that is just the start. Four Mondays, four instructors, four different skills before September gets here.

This Saturday I’m teaching the skate workshop at the first annual KC Roll Out.

Pivots. Spins. Crazy legs. JB. This will be a deep dive, plus a little extra.

This is not a couple of drills and a goodbye. I’m changing how you think about these moves and how you understand them as fundamentals.

And there’s a version of this for everybody. Beginner variations if you’re brand new, advanced variations if you’ve been rolling for years and consider yourself pretty good.

If you want to level up any of these moves, come and you will leave with new information you can actually use.

The JB Workshop is this Monday July 27 at River Roll.

A night dedicated to learning the JB style and funky footwork on eight wheels.

If you have ever wanted to move like those smooth Chicago skaters you see online, then this is a great place to start.

In the workshop we will split into 2 groups.
- First time and beginners
- Intermediate/Advanced Skaters

Will be focused on some of the basic moves and fundamentals for the beginners and have one or two choreographed routines broken down and taught with move names for the second group.

Skate session 7 to 10 PM. Workshop starts at 8:00. Free with the session. Just show up.

The July workshop this week is Ballroom Partner Skate, and it is free with the session.

You do not need to bring a partner. Come solo and we will get you paired up on the floor. Learn the basics of moving with someone and some fun new combos to add to add to your ballroom bag.

Beginners are welcome. Come learn something new, meet your skate family, and stay for the session.
