We offer a variety of power and sail options, including charter for special occasions. We also offer training for those who are new to boating or just want to improve their skills. We are located in historic Wickford Village which is easily accessible from Newport, the Rhode Island beaches, Connecticut and Massachusetts. We look forward to seeing you this season. If you want to carry passengers for hire, your boating experience is only part of the picture.

The 80-hour OUPV course prepares you for the U.S. Coast Guard license application and covers coastal navigation, shiphandling, emergency procedures, Navigation Rules, pollution prevention, and watchstanding.

For Rhode Island boaters, it can be a first step toward a career operating a vessel that carries up to six passengers. The January 2027 course begins January 12, with classroom sessions at In-Command Seamanship Training Center.
