Tomás Garcilazo travels the world sharing his family heritage and history of La Charreria as a third generation Charro. He has been named the PRCA Dress Act of the Year four times, the highest PRCA distinction for his category. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to celebrate his story.
“Tradition is so important to my family. It’s important to my culture. It’s important to me,” says Tomás. “Wrangler has been an incredible partner because they share and celebrate our values. They have helped provide me with the opportunity to showcase my heritage to fans across the world.”
Tomás was introduced early to “La Charreria,” a skill passed through generations only by the Mexican Charro, and is one of today’s finest Charros. Now, performing at major rodeo events with his oldest son and fourth generation Charro, Louis, the tradition continues.

The Wrangler NFR features an impressive list of entertainers to sing the national anthem & perform on stage in Cowboy Corral prior to and after each rodeo performance. Past performers include Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, The Eli Young Band, Reba McEntire and Lady Antebellum.

The Wrangler NFR is the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world and an event like no other, an extravaganza for fans to enjoy the roping and riding activity of today’s cowboys. It is the culmination of the rodeo season where the top 15 contestants in ba****ck riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding compete to take home top honors and their share of a multi-million dollar purse.

Each year the Wrangler NFR transforms the look and feel of the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Rodeo fans decked out in jeans, boots and hats fill hotels, casinos, restaurants, shopping malls and showrooms. Hotel marquees will be splashed with the names of the brightest stars in country and western music for 10 straight days.

Rodeo World is back! Resorts World Las Vegas is the home to the 2023 NFR Saddle Bronc Riders. Resorts World will host a variety of entertainment offerings during NFR but don't miss the official autograph session for all 15 NFR Saddle Bronc riders on December 15th.
