Founded in 2020 in response to Covid shutdowns, Underground Jiu-Jitsu 702 has been providing top-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training to the North Las Vegas community for 3 years. We are an official affiliate of Cascão Jiu-Jitsu Association which includes 6 academies locally in Las Vegas as well as a vast network of affiliate academies throughout the USA and Brazil. Our team of experienced and highly skilled instructors are dedicated to helping students of all ages and skill levels achieve their goals. Each of our instructors has dedicated years training directly under Cascão Jiu-Jitsu Founder/CEO Walter Fontes Vital Jr. (5th degree Black Belt) and have all earned Black Belts from him.

Professor Ruben Delgadillo
Better known as Jona, he started his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2015 and earned his Black Belt from Walter Vital Jr. in 2022. Jona prides himself on being a 100% home grown Cascão Jiu-Jitsu athlete. Jona has trained with Walter from White to Black belt and received each promotion directly from him. Jona founded Underground Jiu-Jitsu 702 in 2020 as his way of combating the ridiculous pandemic shutdowns and restrictions on gyms and social distancing. That is where our namesake Underground originates from. Jona is very passionate about Jiu-Jitsu and is a fierce competitor and coach. His accolades include multiple medals from IBJJF tournaments, NAGA, Jiu-Jitsu World League, BJJ Tour, and ADCC trials. Jona's entire family is actively involved in Jiu-Jitsu and all train here at UGJJ702.

Professor Chee Lim
Chee began his BJJ journey in Las Vegas in 2008 and earned his Black Belt from Walter Vital Jr. in May 2020. Chee currently holds rank of First Degree Black Belt and is officially recognized as such by the IBJJF as well as Beltchecker.com
Chee's accomplishments include multiple time Grappler's Quest/NAGA/Grappling Industries/IBJJF Medalist/Champion. Silver State Judo Champion
Chee serves the community as an ICU Nurse and is a family man. His two children also train here at UGJJ702.
