It’s been an extremely busy day and week. Hell! and it’s only Tuesday…

It’s that time of year again, we need boats and pontoons for the 20th annual Fish-N-Fun event on June 6th at Sand Hollow Res. We also had the DWR set up a project for dedicated hours for those boaters who can help. All right ladies & gentlemen after mother nature blew last weekends tournament out, we finally got on the water out at FABULOUS Temple Bar. We had a total of 20 teams show up to compete. Would also like to give a shout out to DJ Custom Baits aka David J Burns for his amazing prize pack valued at $240, winners being John O'Harro and Kelly Ohl. Would also like to Thank Kelly Ohl for an amazing jar of homemade Peach cobbler that was raffled off and won by David Burns & Dan Snyder who declined it and was than won by myself and David H. Morganthall, we decided to gift it to the 2 amazing bartenders at Temple Bar. And now for the results once again with the smallest 5 fish limit of 6.95 lbs landing them $50 of Justice Brothers bounus $ was Donnie Coleman & Dennis Chavez, coming in 4th place with 12.82 lbs was Asa Stephenson & Steve Heck earning them $100 in prize $, with a 3rd place finish and weight of 12.91 lbs was myself & David H. Morganthall earning us a Justice Brothers bonus of $100 and $285 in prize $. Moving on to 2nd place was the amazing team of Dan Snyder & David Burns landing 14.45 lbs with a BIG FISH of 5.17 lbs earning them $150 in Justice Brothers bonus $475 in prize $ and $200 for big fish. And coming in in the top spot was the AMAZING father & son team of Ryan & Dean Yamagata bring 14.47 lbs to the scale earning them $200 in Justice Brothers bonus $ and $950 in prize money. Once again THANK you to all the Anglers who participated, the AMAZING staff at Temple Bar, David Burns and his AMAZING prize pack of his Custom Baits, for sponsorship and of course our awsome board members Kelly Ohl, Jon Baker, Robert Maddox, myself, and our tournament director who was off playing in his toy boat TammynKent Stoker. A very productive morning today in the shop with the completion of several 3/8 & 1/2oz., Jigs, 1/4 & 3/8oz., Under-spins along with a couple 1/2oz., Electric Shad bladed Jigs. I did manage to epoxy the eyes on Fifteen 7” Umbrella Rigs. I will start adding all the components to the Umbrella Rigs tomorrow morning. D.J. Custom Baits 100% hand crafted in the USA.

On the menu for today: Fifteen D.J. Custom 7”Gen5a Umbrella Rigs. Epoxied all the 3D eyes, and put together all the major components. Now all the work begins. Y’all have a wonderful day.

Four 7” Gen5a Umbrella Rigs with $100.00 in each one completed for the 2026 Pat Donohoe Tournament in April on beautiful Lake Mohave, Nevada. These will be raffled off at the Awards Ceremony. D.J. Custom Baits… “It’s all in the Skirt”
