11u HCB East

Great team party today.
Thanks to all the parents who helped put this together. Water balloons, football, basketball, and of course parents vs kids kick ball.

Well that's a wrap as these boys sure went out giving it there all. The boys ended up with the 2nd seed in the gold division going into Sunday play. We battled past 11u LVBA for a 11-3 victory. We then played Team Adidas in the Gold Championship. The boys battled with all they had never giving up. We had the lead or were tied the whole game until the last pitch. We ended up losing 4-3 on a walk off base hit in the last inning. Bitter sweet way to end, but could not be prouder of these boys...
We finished the season 51-37-1.. a great season for a bunch of kids who we just brought together 2 years ago..
Good Luck boys in all of your adventures, as coaches we cannot wait to see you all on the ball fields this fall.

Another fun Baseball weekend for these boys!
Boys finished Saturday with the 5th seed needing to win 3 games Sunday to take the ship. On the field at 7am these boys came out and played their butts off, but fell short by 1 run in the championship. We are so proud of these boys with how far they have developed these past years.

On a sad note the Wood Bat next weekend will be the end of this great team. Players will branch out and be ready to hear a new voice at the next level. As a coach this is a sad but rewarding moment as I know this coaching staff has given these kids the tools to succeed going foward. We will always be family and will see each other at the ball fields.
Let's bring it one last time next weekend.

Saturday we went 1-1 and put ourselves in the silver division. Today we won our 1st game of the day, but fell short in the silver championship game.

Another fun weekend with the HCB East family. Went 1-1 on Saturday finishing with the 4th seed. Showed up Sunday ready to play 3 games and finished the job at hand. We are so proud of how hard this team has worked this year. Keep pushing yourselves to the limit boys.
Remember we never fail we only learn.

Touching up on some of the basics this morning. Getting ready for the Spring Series this week.

Another fun weekend on the field. Boys went 3-1 only to lose in the Gold Championship. Another great defensive effort pulling out 6 double plays this weekend. Lets practice hard this week and get ready for April Madness this weekend..

Went 2-0 and finished with the 1 seed. Let's bring the same great defense as today and wake up the bats tomorrow.

Yes I understand were bitter, but yet another typical screw job by SU baseball. Over sell a tournment with 17 teams and have 1 team go 4-0 with 4 others going 3-1. We ended up going 3-1 and were left out with us beating 1 of the teams in and not even playing the other 3 that made it. It's a pretty tough pill to swallow telling 11 kids they beat a team today, but that team they beat made it while we go home with the same 3-1 record. Not having bracket play, strength of schedule, or actual runs allowed just confirms Utah needs to reevaluate its tournment process.

Great weekend of baseball HCB. 13 hours at the field today to be left out in the end.

Let's bring it next weekend in Vegas.

Lost in our last bat last night by 1. Bounced back today and went 2-0 to finish 3-1. Now we have to wait 5 to 6 hours to see if we made the championship game with 17 teams in our division. Time to eat and watch some basketball.

Another fun 3 day weekend of baseball. The boys played 6 games and went 4-2 to win the Red White & Blue championship. They have come along way from where this all started. They have played in 3 straight championships winning 2 of those. Keep up the hard work and keep pushing yourself. Your hard work is paying off.
