SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟LINDSEY DURAN🌟

Lindsey is graduating from Mount St. Mary's Academy. She will be attending the University of Arkansa and plans on studying biology (pre-med).

🌟How many years have you been dancing? 15 years!

🌟What is your favorite dance memory? My favorite dance memory is getting up on stage at dress rehearsal to perform “Dr. Jazz” and Mrs. Kim telling me afterwards, “Lindsey, you make such a good boy up there on stage I LOVE IT!” I always knew musical theatre was one of my favorites, but i’m glad others enjoy it just as much as I do!

🌟Is there a dance teacher you would like to brag on or thank?
I would like to thank Mrs. Caitlin! You have always believed in me from the moment I stepped foot into my first solo practice with you. I would not have become the dancer and person I am without your guidance and encouragement! You have continued to challenge me every year and I am so so thankful to be given these opportunities. I love you so much and thank you for the best 4 years of 2 hours of ballet, hard choreography, and late night solo practices!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 ISABEL WILCOX🌟

Isabel is graduating from Mount St. Mary's Academy. She will be attending the University of Arkansa and plans on earning a business and finance degree.

🌟How many years have you been dancing? Recreationally since I was 3, competitively for 6 years!

🌟What is your favorite dance memory? My favorite dance memory is 8th grade when we were competing “Rainbow Connection” at Masquerade and there was a power outage while we were dancing. The lights went out and the curtain fell and no one knew what was happening so everyone was screaming and running around. It was scary at the time but in hindsight it was really funny.

🌟Is there a dance teacher you would like to brag on or thank? I would like to thank Mrs. Robin Pledge because she has been with me since the beginning of my competitive dance career and to all the amazing faculty at DDC - I love you!!!

🌟Anything else?
I’m so thankful for all the friendships I’ve made in my past 5 years at DDC!!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 AVERY STEPHENS🌟

Avery is graduating from North Little Rock High School and will be attending Ole Miss and plans on majoring in psychology before applying to law school.

🌟How many years have you been dancing? 16 years!

🌟What is your favorite dance memory?
One of my favorite dance memories is becoming National Champs with my best friends! It was such a surreal moment and it made us all grow and become closer as teammates and people.

🌟Is there a dance teacher you would like to brag on or thank?
I would love to thank Mrs. Mary Katherine for being such an amazing mentor and teacher. She has been my rock since the beginning and I wouldn’t be where I am in life without her! I also want to thank Tish and Payton for being such a great leaders. They have both taught me so much in such a short period of time!

🌟Anything else?
I want to shoutout my teammates… y’all are my best friends! Meeting and being reunited with y’all has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I’m going to miss all of our laughs and spontaneous RoadRunner trips. I love you guys more than anything!
