Check out this reel from the Arkansas National Guard! Camp Robinson is installing a four mile single track loop on the north side of Hunter Lake that provides a great multi-use trail for mountain biking, hiking, rucking, walking, or running. Since October 31, 2025, volunteers from the Central Arkansas Trail Alliance and AR NICA have logged a few hundred hours in collaboration with CampRobinson and the Soldiers and Airmen of the Arkansas National Guard.

Remember everyone, it is deer season. Please be careful. No matter where you go in AR, the woods will be full of people with guns looking for those tasty four legged furry animals. May not be a bad idea to wear orange.

From Camp Robinson:

Recreational Passes

We are hoping to have Recreational Passes up and running by September 1 but until we have a safe way to move forward amid the Covid-19 pandemic, please locate the application for a Recreational Pass at the web page below.

https://arkansas.nationalguard.mil/Home/Camp-Robinson-Maneuver-Training-Center/

Once you are on the site, click on the tab on the left side of the screen that says RMTC Post Access. Under Command Policies, you will see RMTC Sportsman Pass. When you click on that link, it will pull up the application. Please fill out that application and email it to the email address listed on the application with a copy of your vehicle registration, driver's license and insurance. An email will be sent to you when all the information has received. After the application has been processed, you receive another email stating that you can pick up your pass from the front gate visitor center. If you have any questions, please call 501-212-5233.

Sincerely,
Post Operations
