We had the opportunity to talk about this year’s Run the Park 5K & Kids Fun Run and the heart behind the cause this morning on KATV Good Morning Arkansas!

We’re so grateful for the chance to share more about this meaningful event, our 40-year partnership with Special Olympics Arkansas, and the impact our community can help make together.

A big thank you to the team at KATV for welcoming us and helping us spread the word about Run the Park!

KATV ABC 7 in Little Rock, Arkansas covers news, sports, weather and the local community in the city and the surrounding area, including Hot Springs, Conway, Pine Bluff, Jacksonville, Sherwood, Stuttgart, Benton, Bauxite, East End, Scott, Pinnacle, Maumelle, Gibson, Landmark and Hensley.

We’re officially just a few weeks away from Run the Park 5K & Kids Fun Run!

On Saturday, October 17, we’ll gather at Two Rivers Park for one of LRRA’s favorite community traditions, bringing together runners, walkers, families, and friends in support of Special Olympics Arkansas.

This year carries a little extra meaning as LRRA celebrates 40 years of partnership with Special Olympics Arkansas and works toward a $20,000 fundraising goal.

Whether you’re coming to chase a 5K time, walk with friends, bring the kids for the free Fun Run, or simply support a cause that means so much to our community, we’d love to have you there.
