August practice update! 🏑

A few schedule changes for the rest of the month!

We’ll be back to a mix of Monday and Friday practices in August. Check out the graphic for the full schedule and locations.

Whether you’re getting ready for fall tournaments, looking to stay active, or just want to play some hockey with a great group of people, we’d love to have you join us.

Summer schedule update! 🏑

We usually take a little break during the summer, but we’ve been having too much fun to stop now.

For July and August, we’re moving to Friday-only practices. That means:

Every Friday starting July 24th
6:30- 9PM
📍 Ronald L. Book Athletic Stadium
2555 NE 151st St, North Miami Beach

Please note: There will be no Monday practices during July and August.

This past weekend, our Women’s Team had the opportunity to represent Miami Surf at the US Field Hockey League National Club Championship in St. Louis.

We’re leaving this weekend proud. Proud of the commitment it took to get here. Proud of the way this team competed, supported one another, and represented our club. Proud of the relationships that continue to grow every time we step onto the field together.

Championship weekends are about more than the matches. They’re about learning, building trust, celebrating the moments that go well, and carrying those lessons forward.

A heartfelt thank you to our players, our coach Gianmarco Montejo , and everyone who supported this team throughout the season. This weekend was a reflection of what we’ve been building together, and we’re excited to keep growing.

We’re grateful for the opportunity, proud of this team, and looking forward to what’s next.

A special week for our club. 🏑

This weekend, our Women’s Team will represent Miami at the National Club Championship in St. Louis. We’re incredibly proud of the work, commitment, and growth that has brought this group to this moment.

The best part? It all starts here. Monday nights on the turf, showing up for one another, and building a community through the game we love.

We’ll be back at practice tonight as we continue preparing for what’s ahead.

Long summer evenings, plenty of reps, and a whole lot of people showing up for each other. With the World Cup on our screens and practice on our calendars, we’re grateful to be part of a game that connects people around the world and right here in Miami.

Every practice brings together players from different countries, backgrounds, skill levels, and experiences, all connected by a shared love for the game. Some of us grew up playing competitively. Some are returning after years away. Some are picking up a stick for the first time.

What keeps people coming back is the community we’re building together. Competitive, welcoming, supportive, and rooted in connection both on and off the field.

One of our biggest groups in a long time. Grateful for the energy, the commitment, and the way this team continues to show up for each other. This is what building something together looks like.

This past weekend, our Women’s and Men’s teams competed in the South Regional Club Championship.
Both teams finished in 3rd place, with our Women’s team earning a spot at the National Club Championship in July in St. Louis.

We’re incredibly proud of this group — the commitment, growth, and resilience showed all weekend. A special congratulations to our MVPs, and , for their leadership and impact on the field.

Beyond the results, this weekend was about more than competition. It was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, spend time together, and continue building what makes this club special.

Thank you to everyone who supported along the way. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and can’t wait to see everyone in July.
