๐ ๐จ Floridaโs Super Speeder Law: One Year Later
The numbers are in.
During the first year of Floridaโs new Dangerous Excessive Speeding (Super Speeder) Law, the Florida Highway Patrol made 4,179 arrests statewide.
๐ Hereโs what the data shows:
4,179 total FHP arrests
2,716 drivers arrested for driving 100+ MPH
1,463 drivers arrested for driving 50+ MPH over the speed limit
500+ arrests occurred in Orange County alone
Unlike a typical speeding ticket, these violations can result in arrest, criminal charges, jail time, and a permanent criminal record.
As enforcement continues across Florida, itโs clear that extreme speeding remains a major focus for law enforcement.
Do you think Floridaโs Super Speeder law is making roads safer?
