When The Ticket Clinic founder Mark Gold was driving one of the rarest rally cars ever built, a Ford RS200, to the Miami Concours, he never expected the morning to end in handcuffs.

Police believed he had ignored a traffic stop and arrested him for felony fleeing and eluding, along with reckless driving.

But there was more to the story.

The Ford RS200 is extremely loud, has limited rear visibility, and was already pulling into the event when officers made the arrest.

As with every case, we dug into the evidence, not just the arrest report.

Our legal team obtained the dispatch recordings and discovered the pursuing officer had already terminated the pursuit before making the arrest. That critical piece of evidence ultimately led to the case being dismissed.

This case is a reminder that an arrest is not the end of the story. Sometimes the evidence tells a very different one.
