CLEVELAND SCRAPPERS The Cleveland Scrappers is a 501(c)3 non-profit beep baseball team for the blind and visually impaired. We are always looking for volunteers!

Our funding is essential for our program to be able to provide our service to those who are blind and visually impaired. A majority of those who are sight challenged would not be able to afford the costs associated with full participation in the sport of Beep Baseball. The Cleveland Scrappers is a non-profit program providing persons who are blind or visually impaired the opportunity to participate in the adapted form of baseball, known as Beep Baseball. The ball "beeps," the bases "buzz" and the players are blind folded. The Cleveland Scrappers are a part of the National Beep Baseball Association (NBBA) and this sport allows people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired to play ball with honor and dignity. Players:
The league is open to people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired. We use sighted volunteers as coaches, pitchers, catchers, spotters, drivers, umpires, fundraisers, and more!

The 2026 Ultimate BeepBall Tournament presented by MindsEye and George Mason University will take at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia potentially October 1 – October 3, 2026. The weekend would consist of 4 teams being selected from a pool of 40 All Star players, 4 Head Coaches, 4 Pitch...

The Cleveland Scrappers went into the beep ball series ranked at 11th Pl. We were able to finish one seed higher than expected. We accomplish this in true scrapper fashion, attending the series with omly seven playersy we need a minimum of six to field a team .
Both Christian Keely and Antonio Dobyne made the defensive all -tournament  team.
 
In addition to that Jeffrey Dell last year’s Hall of Fame inducty was recognized with the gym Quinn award.
Not only that, Stanley Griffin was inducted into the beep ball Hall of Fame . It was a hard fought series for the Scrappers,, and we couldn’t have done it without the dedication and commitment from every player and  volunteer 
Look out for details as we prepare to wrap up the season with our annual exhibition game in Solon.
