What a way to kick off the season for the Richland Kings!

🏆 **Richland Kings – Scheidegger 14U** and **Richland Kings – Anna 8U** both battled their way to the championship game this weekend and came home with some hardware!

The **14U Kings** packed **6 games** into the weekend and put together a **3-game winning streak**, including **two comeback victories**, before coming up short in the championship game. A gritty weekend from start to finish!

The **8U Kings** competed in a one-day Sunday tournament, battled their way into the championship game, and came just **one run short** of taking home the title.

Two teams. Two championship appearances. Two banners. 💪👑⚾

The boys closed out the summer in impressive fashion, winning their final three tournaments and building incredible momentum heading into the fall season.

🏆 Congratulations to the 9U Kings on winning their bracket this weekend! 🏆

Saturday didn't start the way they wanted, dropping the first game by two runs and finishing game two in a tie. But this group showed tremendous resilience and came back Sunday with a completely different mindset.

The Kings went 3-0 on Sunday, allowing just 6 total runs across three hard-fought victories. Outstanding pitching, strong defense, and timely hitting were the difference as all three games went five innings.

Proud of these players for battling through adversity, staying together, and showing the grit and determination needed to grind out close wins. Great job responding when it mattered most and bringing home the bracket championship!

13U Richland Kings - Scheidegger’s Hunter Sanger hit a nuke yesterday to help advance his team to the semifinals!

Richland Kings – Scheidegger 9U made another deep bracket run, finishing as runners-up after a tough extra-inning loss in the championship. This group has now reached the semifinals or better in their last three tournaments and hasn’t finished lower than 5th all season. The consistency is real—excited to see what’s ahead for this squad.

Richland Kings – Scheidegger 13U goes BACK-TO-BACK with some dominant performances 💪🔥
Jonathan Ventura was lights out, throwing 6 innings on just 82 pitches—giving up 0 runs on 2 hits while striking out 11.
Grady Wood took the mound in Game 2 and carried a no-hitter into the final inning, finishing with 0 runs allowed.
The bats were 🔥 all weekend—Nick Banda and Caleb Berg both hit over .750, and Gabe Smith joined the bomb squad with an absolute missile over the CF batter’s eye 🚀
