Returning with Intention. It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here consistently. The past couple of years my work has continued to deepen even in the quiet. I’ve spent time listening, growing, holding space and becoming more grounded in the heart behind what I offer.
If you are new here, welcome!
My work centers around trauma-sensitive somatic healing, yoga therapy, nervous system support and helping people reconnect with safety in their bodies through gentle, grace centered practices.
I have learned healing is not about forcing or performing wellness or even becoming someone else. Often healing begins by learning how to slow down enough to listen. Whether you are here to learn, reconnect, heal, breathe or simply feel less alone, I’m grateful you’re here.
Uprooted Replanted Wellness
My passion is to empower people to creatively connect to the Lord both mind, spirit & body.

New year, new season. I use to choose a word every new year as a theme for the year to come. The past couple of years I haven’t though each year definitely had a theme. This year it’s agility. Specifically, physical and emotional agility. The definition of agility is to move quickly and easily. I see emotion agility as being able to move quickly and easily yet feel completely from seemingly opposite sets of feelings. To experience emotion as energy in motion. If you haven’t already I encourage you to feel into what themes you feel rising up to embody in 2023. Happy New Year!

It’s a beautiful yet rainy fall morning here. Today is the day I step out in faith to expand. I had to put Yoga Teacher Trainings on hold in 2020-2021 due to an unexpected remodel of my home/studio space. Since then, I have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a new path to your yoga teacher certification especially if you are looking for a training that integrates your walk with Jesus into the practice, yet not compromising your foundational yoga education. Visit the all new website for more details. We are enrolling now. But the training won’t go live till January 1. Payment plans are available. More trainings are in the works, including yoga therapy and continuing education workshops.

I’ve been feeling out of rhythm lately. This morning I realized that was because part of me was wanting to stay in summer energy, part of me was ready for fall, but it isn’t quite time. Then I sat with the meaning a rhythm of late summer in TCM. And realized I was resisting this season. Time to begin the subtle journey of transitioning from the rapid growth and outward energy of spring/summer to the more introspective and falling away of fall/winter. This is the liminal space between the two energies and it is ok to feel the tension that arises in the transitions of the seasons both in nature and in oneself.

Taking it all in. This picture represents healing, hope, and the promise of the Divine to my heart in a time where the light felt dim and I was all but hopeless. There were seriously times I wondered would I ever feel good enough to be in the sun all day swimming and playing. I laid in bed and visualized this moment. If I could be well enough, strong enough have energy enough to do a handstand on the beach I would know I was healed. This morning as I tried and fell, dusted off the sand and tried again for about 20 minutes. About 5 minutes before this picture was taken I almost called it quits. The beach was sloped, the sand was a challenge for my balance. I looked at my husband and said, I’m good. It’s not gonna happen, let’s go. He turned and looked me in the eye and asked me the most powerful question, “Are you sure?” I checked in with my heart… no I wasn’t sure. I wanted this and it was in that moment I determined I wasn’t leaving till I got it. I knew I was capable, it was just the variables like the slope and sand I had to figure out. With his help I positioned my self with my sting arm on the downhill slope. And after a few more attempts… there it was! There I was! With a new perspective. This trip has been the victory lap of a 5 year journey of healing. And now I want more. I am so grateful for the health I am experiencing, but now I want to be stronger, see new adventures and LIVE BIG! Don’t quit contending for your healing, (physically, emotionally, & spiritually) keep fighting, keep your eyes focused on the vision. Get a coach or mentor to help you. I did not do this alone! What does healing look like for you? How will you know when your there? Who will you enlist to help you achieve your goals? And what will you step into next?
