It takes a lot of courage to be a beginner in a room full of people who look like they know exactly what they’re doing.
You might look around the gym and feel like everyone is stronger, faster, fitter, or further along than you.
But look at you.
You’re there.
You’re moving your body.
You’re learning.
You’re getting stronger.
You’re doing something for YOU.
Maybe your weights are lighter than the person next to you.
Maybe you’re walking while someone else is running.
Maybe you’re modifying half the workout.
Good.
Because you’re meeting yourself exactly where you are and building from there.
Every strong person you see had a first day.
Every person who makes something look easy once struggled to learn it.
You don’t need to be the strongest person in the room.
You don’t need to keep up with anyone.
You just need to keep showing up and giving yourself the opportunity to become a little stronger, a little more capable, and a little more confident.
There is no shame in being at the beginning of something.
There’s something pretty damn powerful about deciding to begin at all.
You’re not behind.
You’re becoming.
