Congratulations to our Avon Spring Sq**rt team who finished up the spring league season with a 7-1 record! Often times the game roster was a little thin as many of the players were playing other spring sports but when it came time to play, those that were able to make it played great! A big thanks goes out to Coach Scott and all those that helped on the bench/penalty box this spring. Great job coaching and making this spring season fun! Some exciting spring-league hockey action over the weekend for our Sq**rt team…. With a limited roster (8 total skaters and a goalie) our young squirts took on Parma and came away with a 12-5 victory! Congrats to Coach Leygraff and team for a great effort and win! Game recap for our Sq**rt Spring Team. Our young Eagles battled Team Godzilla in the Strongsville Spring League on Saturday and took home the W in a close one. 9-7 victors! Score updates from the Strongsville Spring League….. our Sq**rt team continues to play well. Last night they took on North Olmsted and skated to a 10-4 victory! In a game prior to the “spring break” they beat a tough Ohio Buckeye Leaf team and came away with a 9-7 win! Their next game is this weekend. Great job so far this spring Avon Sq**rts! Score update for our P*e Wee Spring team… the PW’s pulled out a close one (5-4) this past Tuesday vs North Olmsted. Today they took on a fast Team Ohio squad losing 7-1. Their third game of the spring comes next Wednesday when they battle Elyria. Avon High School HockeyAvon Youth Hockey

Solid start for the Avon Spring Sq**rt team in the Strongsville Spring League... With a total team effort on both ends of the ice, the young Eagles with a very thin roster due to other spring commitments dressing just 7 skaters and a goalie, came away with a 9-3 victory over the Ohio Stars! Four different goal scorers (L. Conley, B. Conley, Mashuda and Slomka), three others added assists (Condon, Rollins, Leygraff) and a strong showing in net by Leygraff stopping 20 of 23 shots! Nice job Eagles! Next game for them will be Tuesday night!
