South Cuyahoga Sportsmen's Association

On 10/26/2024, South Cuyahoga hosted its annual Youth Hunt. We released 100 birds for 38 young hunters. For 15 of those hunters, this was their first pheasant hunting experience and we were proud to have helped many of them harvest their first bird. The weather was fantastic with cool temperatures and blue skies.

Okay kids. This coming Sunday March 17 the South Cuyahoga Sportsmen's Association will host the popular Greg Cahlik memorial/Law Enforcement Appreciation trial. We honor the memory of our late friend Greg Cahlik who was a member of the SCSA field trial committee, owner and operator of Cahlik s Shooting preserve ,a businessman and member of the law enforcement community. Regrettably, we lost Greg at the all- to- young age of 51 to a very aggressive brain cancer.. We also honor members of the law enforcement community both active and retired.We will run two fields and are running on chuckers. We are pleased to have Nick Ativid judging flushing dogs and Dave Packard judging pointers. We will have hot food in the clubhouse, including the appropriate corned beef( while supplies last.) Also we will have a couple of card raffles in the clubhouse. One for a Lake Erie fishing basket courtesy of Bay's Edge Bait and Tackle Capt.Mark Cahlik. And a second raffle for a very special "fruit basket"! As our trial season winds down we look forward to seeing everyone next Sunday. Spectators always welcome. Modern clubhouse with fireplace big screen TV and bathroom facilities. Dogs welcome( on leashes please,).A great opportunity to introduce a young dog to safe gunfire from a safe distance or get a snootful of that oh so heavenly bird scent! 5370 Erhart Road Medina Ohio 44256.

Fishing Derby 2023
Thank you to South Cuyahoga Sportsmen's Association, all the volunteers, and everyone who came out for the derby!

As you all are aware that large gatherings have been cancelled throughout the world, schools closed, and etc.. to minimize spread of the COVID-19.With that being said SCSA will also postpone all Events at our facilities until at least April 1st ,2020.
