New Level Coaching

As the majority of the racing season has wrapped up for NLC athletes I am reminded as to how thankful I am for the past 17 years of coaching this amazing sport. This sport has brought so many amazing things into my life from the incredible people, to the places I’ve traveled to, to the industry partners, to the highs and the lows and so many more things along the way. I truly have a deep love for this sport and everything that it involves. To say that I live in the sport would be an understatement as I consume content, information and updates about the sport non stop. To say I deeply care about anyone I coach wouldn’t even begin to describe it. When I created NLC all those years ago I did so with two things in mind… 1) offer something different than was being offered and 2) do everything I can to help people achieve their dreams and beyond. In these 17 years we have coached everything from complete newcomers to professionals, had athletes qualify for the World Championships at every distance of triathlon, qualify for the Boston Marathon, complete multiple solo marathon open water swims, race on different continents, win races, get on podiums, set PR’s, complete 137 70.3 races and 117 full Ironman races.

To everyone that I have coached, am currently coaching or will coach in the future THANK YOU for being part of this amazing journey. To all of our amazing corporate partners, I can’t thank you enough for all the support you have shown us and continue to show us. And to all the NLC spouses, partners, kids and anyone else who cheers us on along the way… thank you, you support means everything and does not go unnoticed.

Here we go into year 18. Bigger, better, more goals to crush and more dreams to get after. Do What Others Won’t!!!

Sending out a huge congratulations to NLC race team member Jana Riedmann who recorded her 2nd fastest full Ironman and NLC athlete Nick Dornsife who took nearly an hour off his PR and did a 10:38 at Ironman California yesterday! Proud of you both for all the hard work!

Ohio 70.3 recap. Great day for the NLC race team. Joel goes 5:45 in his first even after getting a flat 8 miles into the bike. Jordon takes over 30:00 off his PR. Unfortunately Jay had to DNF after running into some issues on a very choppy swim but lives to fight another day. Proud of all you guys!

I’ll let Jana Riedmann tell the bulk of the story as she wants but I just have to say this. Do What Others Won’t is not just a tagline we put on our kits. It’s a way we go about things. What do you do when you travel to Algeria for a race and most of your equipment gets stuck in Istanbul? You beg and borrow equipment from other people, you go race and you take 2nd overall female at a full Iron Distance race in the Sahara Desert! Way to make it happen Jana!!
