Today, we pause to remember and thank the brave search and rescue dogs who worked tirelessly in the aftermath of 9/11. Their courage, resilience, and loyalty provided hope in the darkest of times, as they searched for survivors and brought comfort to those in need.

These incredible canines and their handlers displayed remarkable dedication, often working through exhaustion and danger. We are forever grateful for their service and the vital role they played in the recovery efforts.

Thank you, heroes, for your unwavering courage. You will always be remembered.

UPDATE: She's been picked up and taken to Animal Care of Davis County.

Found Dog!
This cutie was brought in as a lost pet during the storm today. She was found around 1400 North in North Salt Lake (the West Point neighborhood). She is being held safe at The Dog Den until Davis Animal Control can come get her. Proof of ownership will be required!

Did you know we require an annual f***l exam for daycare and boarding? Unfortunately, it can be easy for dogs (and other furry friends) to get intestinal parasites and then spread it through their stool to their buddies (sometimes without even showing symptoms!). Some ways they can get infected is by drinking contaminated water (stagnant outdoor water bowls, water from puddles/lakes/etc), coming into contact with contaminated f***s, or self grooming/licking their paws/fur when walking through contaminated soil or grass. Common intestinal parasites are giardia and coccidia, and can cause diarrhea, bloody stool, and malnutrition. We require a yearly minimum check of your pup's stool to ensure they are in tip top shape to play! If you have any questions, please give us a call to discuss the benefits of regular f***l checks!
