Intro to Cheer | Ages 4–6

A joyful first step into the world of cheerleading, teamwork, and performance! Children will learn the basics of cheer while building confidence, coordination, and a strong sense of community. Fun pom-poms bring extra energy to every class, while age-appropriate tumbling basics such as forward rolls and cartwheels add a little gymnastics fun. A playful introduction to cheering for others, performing together, and having fun!

Cheer Fundamentals | Ages 6–8
Tuesdays 5:45–6:45 PM at Weber Center

A fun and dynamic introduction to the world of cheerleading! Children will learn a variety of cheer skills, including Pom, jumps, motions, basic tumbling, and age-appropriate beginner stunts. The class builds strength, coordination, flexibility, teamwork, confidence, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Taiga Dance Gymnastics | Ages 4–6
Tuesdays 4:45–5:35 PM at the Weber Center

A fun and energetic class combining the joy of dance with the fundamentals of gymnastics! Children will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, body control, rhythm, and confidence through playful movement, dance, and gymnastics activities.

Something new is growing in Skokie!

Skokie Cheer starts this September at Weber Leisure Center, with classes for children ages 4–14. Come learn cheer fundamentals, build confidence and become part of a joyful local team.

Our athletes will have opportunities to cheer at local house league games this winter and perform in the Taiga Winter Show on December 19.
