After yesterday’s update, we had to run the stock car A-Main yet - started 26th and was up to 11th when two cars got together in front of Matt and he had nowhere to go and clobbered them. They counted the lap so restarted 18th, said it was hard to steer but made it back up to 11th. It was definitely a good enough car to make it in last night as he rolled the middle passing 3 wide and was just being patient. Only the top 4 went to the Big Dance. After coming back to the pit, we saw the frame horns were bent. Spent a few hours after the races bending them back to be good enough for an LCQ. Got to bed around 3:30am. There is no quit in this crew! Special thanks to all who helped get it ready to hit the track today! “Stock car Ben” - your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!! Thanks to Paul Burger for letting Matt drive that hotrod!

Today - stock car: finished 2nd in the LCQ heat and drew a 7. Starting 7th in LCQ feature #1 and need to make top 2 to go to the Big Dance!

For the mod:
We will be in LCQ heat 14 and need to get top 3 to transfer to LCQ feature.

Thanks to everyone for the support! Luck may not have been on our side this week (or ever really when it comes to drawing 🫣😬), but we’re making the most of it!!

Friday update on a Friday! 😉
In the mod today: started 4th, finished 3rd. Off to a B feature at the end of the night.
In the stock car: started 3rd, finished 2nd which put us in tonight’s A main (up next)! Driver drew 26 out of 30! Starting 26th and top 4 go to tomorrow’s Big Dance!

Boone Thursday recap:
- In the B&B Racing Chassis stock car:
Heat: 10th to 5th (not enough to make A though)
B-feature: 14th to 11th (for points only)

- In our modified:
Heat: 3rd to 4th (which was enough for a 😎
B-Feature: 6th to 8th (for points only)
Race of Champions heat: 5th to 4th (only took top 2)

Changed a bunch of stuff on the modified - still learning as we go! We originally were able to draw for both the stock car and mod Race of Champions; however then told to choose one. With the modified being the better draw, we chose that class. Pretty cool to even be eligible for the Race of Champions in our rookie campaign racing against some of the best in the country weekly!! We currently have two track championships and leading at a 3rd track with the modified and leading in Arlington with the stock car!

Huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by and purchased apparel and all the support! Luck has not been on our side all week so hoping to turn that around today! We will be heat 27 with the mod and heat 7 with the stock car in back to back sessions.

PS Doesn’t mini Matt Crafton (Matthew) look good with his new shirt?! He said he “can’t wait to meet my girl (Brynlee)” 🫣 I feel this could be trouble! 😂

First of all, we have to give a big birthday shout out to our little crew chief, Brayden!!! Mean mom made him go home and go to school but I lost track of how many times he begged to stay the entire week with us! 😂 He is looking forward to coming back down on Saturday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRAYDEN! 🎉 ❤️ We love you and miss you! (Shelly spoiled the birthday boy on Monday when he was down here 🥰)

Boone - Wednesday recap:

In the stock car - started 6th, finished 4th which put us in a B feature. Started 10th and finished 7th in the B feature with a broken upper A arm!

In the mod - started 6th and finished 3rd which put us in a B feature. Started 4th and finished 3rd.

For TODAY - we used up our “good” draw in the mod and start 3rd. We start dead last in the stock car. Top 2 go to tonight’s A Main! Elbows up - lot of work to do!

Also today, since Matt drew better for the mod Race of Champions, we decided to choose that class (as we can’t run both the stock car and mod for Race of Champions)… 🤐 Mod Race of Champions heats are also today.

It’s RACE day! Today we will be starting with the stock car and then the mod hours later. Heat 5 for the stock car and heat 29 for the mod. We also drew for Race of Champions in both divisions; however, was just informed we can only pick one division 🤷🏻‍♀️ (even though we have track championships in the mod this year and currently leading stock car points). Driver has to make the call.

We do have merch at the trailer (south east of cell tower along the fence) - t-shirts, long sleeve, hoodies, stocking caps, and caps! Stop by and see us!

Crew chief finally made it to Boone with the kiddos last night after a slight delay - flat tire! 😏

Come see us south of the cell tower in the last row along the fence under bright orange canopy! We have tanks, t-shirts, long sleeve, and hoodies along with pom stocking hats, regular stocking hats, and caps!

Thanks to Beth Pedersen for doing the shirts and delivering them and Blast Graphics for the quick turn around time on the hats and koozies!

We only have hot laps today with the stock car and mod - stock car will be first! Good luck to all the racers!
